‘Hanami’ – Indoor cherry blossom viewing
The Bamboo Grove is pleased to announce new artwork by various artists during the month of April.
‘Hanami’ is a term used to describe the Japanese act of cherry blossom viewing. Over 15 artists will be showing artwork in a variety of mediums inspired by cherry and plum blossoms. The gallery will be transformed into an orchard for an indoor Hanami experience to celebrate the arrival of spring.
There will be a First Friday artist’s reception on Friday, April 4th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Music will be provided by DJ Dr. FuManchu. This is a free event.
The show will run through April 30th, with gallery hours Tuesday – Saturday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Bamboo Grove Salon is an art gallery and community space dedicated to the fusion of Chinese and American culture.
